clockspeed

The clockspeed package provides a suite of utilities for checking, setting, calibrating and maintaining the system clock of a network computer. The package also includes a time server that may be used to precisely synchronize the clocks of a number of computers on a network.

The clockspeed package is used as a starting point on the djb way, an introductory tutorial to a number of recurring themes, principles, and procedures encountered later on.
